Delegation is a key strategy to empower team members to take responsibility for their work and be significantly invested in their work. This gives them a greater sense of purpose and if done correctly, improves long-term organisational results. This course introduces learners to the fundamentals of delegation, and the different approaches toward effective delegation, such as Tannenbaum and Schmitt's Leadership Continuum and Hersey and Blanchfords Theory of Situational Leadership.
